I've heard this time and time again from many of my clients, "We have a friend that DJ's on the side sometimes" or, "Can't we just set up our own playlist and play it through a speaker?". I cringe every time someone brings this up.
You're asking yourself, "What the heck is engagement season?" In a mobile disc jockey's mind, engagement season is around the Holidays. You know, after Thanksgiving until Valentines Day. These are the months in which the wedding season is really slow, but there are other great events for DJ's to play like corporate holiday parties, trivia nights at bars, regular Friday night shows that get a little bit more of a crowd because of the weather and so on and so forth.
These are also the months in which 20 somethings to 30 somethings are getting engaged and they will be planning weddings for the following year...good news for disc jockey services!
Purchasing an engagement ring for a proposal is one of the most fun purchases one can make. Nothing makes a girl smile and her face light up more than anything than receiving an engagement ring from the love of her life...or is there? Yes there is...that is planning and executing a flawless wedding ceremony and hosting a reception that will blow not only yours and her mind, but the minds of your family and friends. Ladies and gentlemen, hiring the perfect DJ for your wedding reception is almost as important as finding the perfect engagement ring. You don't want a ring so cheap that the gems fall out of their settings, but you also don't want to buy a ring so expensive that you'd have to take a second mortgage out on your home. Same goes with DJ's, folks. You don't want to hire a DJ whose sound system shuts down in the middle of your first dance because it wasn't set up properly or has lack of power. Nor do you want a DJ who has so much "stuff" and so many speakers that are so loud it makes grandpa want to throw his hearing aid across the room either.
You want a DJ that will help you plan a flawless reception. You want a DJ that will work with you every step of the way, who is approachable, personable, and one who understands that this is YOUR wedding and YOUR party, not the DJ's. You want a DJ that will provide the music that YOU want and YOU want that music played through new, state of the art equipment that is set up for YOUR reception venue and maximizes the room for total, clear, great sounding coverage that won't blow grandma and grandpa out of the windows, that is unless you want it to.
We want to hear from you. Drop us a line.
